Your hours or details are wrong on Google
Google Search or Maps shows the wrong opening hours, phone number or website for your business.
Applies to: Businesses with a Google Business Profile.
Try these steps
Sign in with the right account
Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile, then search for your business name on Google. If that account manages the profile, you’ll see options to edit it.
Edit your profile
Choose the option to edit your profile, then update the details that are wrong. Add special hours for bank holidays and closures.
Save and allow time
Google may review changes before they appear, which can take a while. Avoid editing the same detail again while you wait.
If you can’t see edit options
Another account may manage the profile, for example a former employee or an agency. Find out which email address set it up.
Check it worked
Once Google confirms the change, search for your business in a private or incognito window and check the details shown.
When to stop and ask for help
- You can’t find out who manages the profile, or need to request ownership.
- The profile is suspended, or there are duplicate listings for your business.
